Question by  CHernandez (58)

What is involved in making wreaths? Does it require a lot of special equipment?

I have some great ideas for door wreaths.

The basics for creating a wreath to decorate are a frame (typically grapevine, styrofoam, or wire), scissors and wire cutters, a hot glue gun, and needle-nosed pliers.

Some special equipment you may use when making wreaths would include a glue gun, glue sticks, wire cutters, wire, floral tape, and artificial flowers. You will also need your base of your wreath. Wreaths are pretty easy to do once you get the hang of it. If working with wood wreaths, make sure you follow the way the wood lays.

Actually, it's really simple. You can do a while lots with wire cutters and a good roll of green florist wire.
