Regarding the fuel pressure regulator, one must first disconnect the battery to prevent fire. Next, you must relieve the fuel pressure on the fuel rail via the pressure valve. Finally, the fuel pressure regulator mounting screws should be removed utilizing the appropriate hex or torx tool. Installion in reverse order.

You will need to jack up the car and remove the regulator from the front part of the fuel tank. There are three bolts that will be holding it in. Once out install a new one that you would get from an auto part store. Once installed check system to make sure you have proper flow.
