There are many different factors when breeding a Yorkie, you must look at the genetic traits of both parents like color size etc. Teacup Yorkies are not a specific breed but they are bred to a much smaller size through selective breeding.

Before you breed always check to make sure your dog is in proper health by taking her to the vet. She should be no younger than 18 months old. You need to wait until she is in heat which only happens a couple times a year.

First your dog should be a good example of the breed. If you're not sure of this, ask an experienced breeder to evaluate your dog. If the dog's a good candidate for breeding, then have them screened for genetic and health disorders common to Yorkies. Be financially prepared - many Yorkies can't deliver naturally and may require a C-section.

To breed Yorkies, you must have a stud, or male dog, and a female dog. The female Yorkie must be in heat and the male not neutered.

Start with health tested adults which are ready to breed by age two. Be ready to pay for a c-section if needed, and for intensive puppy care to maximize survival.

The breeding process for yorkies is very similair to a breeding process with any other breed of dog. You need a male dog and a female dog.

Yorkie breeding age should be about two years for both the males and the females. It can be very expensive breeding Yorkies when it comes to covering the cost of their food. There is also plenty of time dedicated to caring for each of the Yorkies.

The only thing really involved in breeding dogs of any breed would be to make sure both the mother and father dog are in excellent health. Other than that you just have to make sure that the stud locks into place to ensure sperm release.
