What is included when you talk about "toiletries?"

My daughter is going to camp. She's supposed to bring her own "toiletries."

Consider toiletries to be anything you would take to get ready in the morning or evening that you would not share with anyone else. This could include shampoo, soap, toothbrush and toothpaste, deodorant, a hairbrush, and items such as towels and razors.

The term toiletries refers to anything you would use for your personal hygiene. Some examples would be toothpaste, mouthwash, shaving cream, body wash, soap etc. Sometimes these should be put into plastic non breakable containers depending on where you are going.
