When storing lily bulbs, make sure to remove the bulbs from the outdoors before the first frost. Discard any rotting bulbs. Carefully shake off the soil from the bulb and carefully wrap the remaining bulb in some burlap. Depending on the type of bulb, they can be kept in a dark box on a shelf or in the refridgerator.

First, make sure after you dig them up that you allow them to dry out good. Secondly, store them in a dark, cool place until you're ready to replant.

When storing Lily Bulbs always make sure they are in a very cold and dry place. Most people store them in paper bags in the bottom part of their refrigerator.

You will want to wait till after the fall so that they will be dormant when you dig them up. Store them in a paper bag surrounded by peat moss. the bag must be permeable to mousture. Then store then in a nice cool spot such as a refridgerator, but nothing that will freeze.
