A normal persons DNA is XX for females and XY for males. A Hermaphrodite is born with DNA of XXXY or XXY.

The DNA of a hermaphrodite depends on that of their sex. Despite physical mutations, there is no third sex, and a hermaphrodite will have the chromosomal makeup of either a male or a female. The mutation comes from the development stage in womb.
