Genetically engineered foods are foods that have had their DNA modified in some way. Most genetically engineered foods are vegetables. Corn is often modified to make it grow faster, look fresher or to change some other trait. Animals are sometimes also modified. Pigs have been modified so that their manure is lost phosphuric.
