It explains why people are introverts or extraverts. It states that introverts are more active in the so called ARAS section of the brain This is a structure in the brains core that regulates the excitement levels. The more it is open, the more stimuli is received, causing introvertness.

its a theory where eysenck believed everyones personalities could be desicribed by three different traits and they are extraversion, neuroticism and psychoticism. Extraversion is the agressive side. neuroticism is usually someone who focuses on negative emotions like anxiety and depression. Psychoticism is someone who is more vunerable to mental challanges like schizophrenia.
