Elvis has a various ethnic heritage. His Gt/gt/gt grandmother was a Cherokee Indian. His background also includes German, Scottish and French.

Elvis's background has been extensively researched. His ancestors include German, Scottish (the Presley name arriving in America in 1700), French, and Cherokee Indian (great-great-grandmother).

Elvis Presley had a varied ethnic heritage.His great,great,great grandmother,whom he was decended from twice,was a Cherokee Indian named Morning Dove.This was his mother's ancestor,and his mother also had Jewish ancestors.Elvis Presley was also German,French,and Scottish.

Elvis had a multi-ethnic heritage. There was a strong European strain which included Irish, Scotch, and French. His mother's side of the family included relatives who were Jewish and Native Americn. Elvis was born on January 8th, 1935 in Tupelo, Mississippi.
