A rotator cup is a misnomer. The correct phrase here is rotator cuff, a group of muscles and tendons that work to stabilize the shoulder. Typical injuries to this area of the body involve tears in the muscle, resulting in pain and restricted movement in the shoulder. Such injuries can result from strenuous physical activity typical to athletes.

I am not sure waht a rotator cup is but, I can tell you that the rotator cuff consists of the subscapularis, supraspinatus, infraspinatus, and the teres minor muscles. Together these encircle the shoulder joint and blend with the articular capsule.

Your injury is to the rotator cuff, you must play baseball or do some type of work with your arms.
