My in-laws traditional Easter dinner included ham, deviled eggs, green bean casserole, corn, mashed potatoes, and crescent rolls. Sometimes cranberry jelly would appear also. There was always a selection of pies for dessert. The ham was served hot some years and chilled some years, but suggestions for a meat other than ham was always put off for another holiday.

Classic Easter dinner always includes glazed baked ham, served with applesauce. Of course, you must have deviled eggs for Easter. With this you would want creamy scalloped potatoes and creamed asparagus. Your bread for Easter should include hot cross buns. For dessert serve a tasty carrot cake with cream cheese frosting!

The classic Easter menu is roast lamb with boiled red potatoes and spring peas. Be sure to have a cream sauce for potatoes and mint sauce or the lamb.

Ham is a classic main dish for Easter, though serving turkey is also popular. Colored hard boiled eggs are also common.
