Color therapy is a clinical approach to psychology that involves exposing people to particular colors for therapeutic purposes. Most mainstream psychologists believe this is quackery. Don't waste your money.

It is a holistic treatment. Since color can affect mood, colors and sometimes colored lights are used to change the mood and induce certain feelings in the patient.

It started in the early 20th century. People said certain colors (blue, green) would help you relax. Red supposedly increased your immune system. It's not recognized by serious counselors.
