Cellulose is a straight chain polymer of carbohydrates. Humans can not digest cellulose dietary fiber. Cellulose can be found in plant cells.

Cellulose is a carbohydrate found in green plants. Its fibers strengthen cell walls. Although people can't digest the cellulose in vegetables, the fiber adds healthful bulk to one's diet.
