Flu is always a possible with fever and aches. If there is any vomiting or abdominal pain I would recommend heading to the closest clinic to get checked out. Additionally, if the fever is very or prolonged you need to see a doctor.

Fever and body aches are common with a lot of viral infections, including the flu. Treat the symptoms with a non-aspirin pain reliever, drink plenty of fluids and get lots of rest. If the symptoms persist more than a few days or if they get worse, call your doctor.

Yes. One of the main symptoms of flu, that helps in identifying the virus from the common cold or other virus is usually the fever. Flu will typically cause a higher fever than other conditions that only cause a low grade fever. Body aches and pains are also closely associated with this illness.

It could be the flu, but flu will normally have cough/cold symptoms as well. If these symptoms do not develop, mono is another possibility.

Anytime you have a fever for 2 or 3 days you should contact your doctor. It could be the flu, it could be an infection someplace else in your body.
