What is causing low voltage on my Cadillac?

Well if you have low voltage while the car is running the you have a problem with your charging system. Have you alternator tested and make sure you have all the grounds you need and that they make good contact.

It sounds like you are going to have a bad battery cable. It could also be something draining the system while the car is on. Also check and make sure your alternator is good.

If you are having these types of problems with your Cadillac then you will need to get a new battery.
