More commonly spelled amyloid, it's a protein deposit. Fibrous protein clumps together, often in organs. Too much of these can all sorts of problems.

This is a fibrous protein that is insoluble. And has specific traits that can settle in any part of the body. It can build up in the body. This can lead to a lot of degenerative diseases. This could mean multiple problems with your body. This can be caused from the blood in your body.
