The Harley Davidson V-rod is a fairly new model. It was a model introduced back in 2001 that featured Harley's first fuel injected, overhead cammed, and liquid cooled engine. This cruiser model was designed to be competition for the others brands lighter and faster bikes.

A vrod is an item that goes into your motorcycle. It's actually located where the gear is and it has a v shape to it. That is why they call it the v rod.
