What is a tomato pepper?

Is it a pepper or a tomato?

It appears that "tomato pepper" is only nickname for a richly-red fleshed version of the bell pepper. There are no hybrids of the tomato and pepper, and no tomato plant that has a spicy aspect to it. I've been growing veggies a long time, and my southern grandma called a squat red bell a tomato pepper.

Tomato and pepper is different things. Tomato is a vegitable. And pepper will ingreese the tast of food. Pepper is useful for many things.
