I like my children watching either Kim Possible or SpongeBob SquarePants. These shows are very appealing to little children, and are acceptable.

If available in your area, you can't go wrong with classic Bugs Bunny cartoons. Not only are children being exposed to stereotypical cartoon humor, they are unconsciously receiving an education in classical music & literature, poetry, opera and history. Even if they aren't on television in your area, there are some great DVD & VHS collections available for purchase.

My children love to watch the cartoons and shows that are on our local PBS station. The particular favorite in our house is "Word Girl" or "Martha Speaks".

The only channel that really has good Saturday Morning cartoons is Boomerang. They show a lot of classic cartoons, and so there are not as much junk cartoons on there.
