Make sure you are giving the goat the proper food and not over feeding and make very sure that the hay you are feeding doesn't have to much alfalfa in it that can cause severe diarrhea among other things. The other thing you can check on is the water you have to make sure they are drinking.

Goats frequently get an intestinal parasite called coccidia. It causes bouts of diarrhea that may go away and return. It is extremely contagious, and very hard to completely get rid of, especially in a herd situation. Make sure you clean up the feces very frequently and seek help from your vet, in case your goat needs medication.
