Words that begin with phlebo- relate to your blood or circulatory system. Words that begin end in -lith refer to stone. So looking at phlebolith it would seem to be a stone in your blood. Further research indicates that it is a small calcification in a vein, and is usually not a matter for concern. Ask your doctor more questions.

A phlebolith is a small local calcification within a vein. Usually found in the lower pelvis, these are usually of no clinical importance. It's hard to tell sometimes in an x-ray the difference between a phleblith and renal stones.
