What is a "normal" blood glucose reading?

Dr. Oz told Carnie Wilson that 100 was borderline diabetic. I don't think that's right.

The normal blood glucose level ranges from 80-120 Hgt. So if your blood sugar is a hundred then it is still normal.

less than 110 mg/dl is considered normal. If it is 126 mg/dl on 2 consecutive tests you probably will be diagnosed with diabetes.

The amount of glucose in the blood is reported in milligrams per deciliter, or mg/dl. A normal fasting blood glucose usually is in the range of 80 to 120 mg/dl. Repeated tests showing glucose levels above 140 mg/dl indicate diabetes. You could be on the right track for your thinking.
