it means that your control board is bad, or that your baking element is grounded. you can test the bake element for continuity and groundedness with an OHM meter. on the terminals it should read between 19 and 115 ohms depending on the manufacturer. check the baking element under the sheath should be no continuity. replace if it does.

Code F1 is connected to the electric control panel. The first action to try is unplug the oven for 5 minutes. Unplugging electrical and computerized components often will reset it.

The F1 code indicates a failed oven control board. This can be caused by a failed oven control and/or a faulty oven temperature sensor probe. Often, when these parts malfunction, it is easier to replace the stove, rather than the part.

You are probably going to need a technician, or a new stove. An F1 code means the keyboard is bad or the control board is fried. Either way it's not a problem you can fix yourself.

Check the sensor in the oven the f1 code is telling ERC(electronic range control)that it's bad. You can check this with a Ohm meter.

This fault code represents one of two things that usually occurrs. Either a bad ERC (Electronic range control) or in laymens terms, a bad clock or a bad touch key pad. There is a test that can be performed to determine if one of these parts is the cause, but repair should be performed by a repair technician.
