What is a good rugged cell phone that I can use with AT&T?

Do not get the iPhone, as it will break easily. I recommend something from the LG line, preferably with rubber casing or some other protective covering.

After scanning cell phones usable with an AT&T plan, I would suggest the Motorola Tundra. It's a good sturdy phone that's both weather and shock resistant. It seems like it could go through quite a bit and keep on running.

If you really want to go rugged, I would try the Sonim XP3 Quest. It's said to be waterproof, and resistant of tons of things.

I don't know about water resistant but shock I can tell you. I am so clutsy dropping my phone all the time. Try the LG Shine. Avoid things with mirco tech like the I Phone.

Any lg phone would be good. I've been using the LG rumour for 2 years now and nothing has happened to it. It has been water resistant and proved well even in the rain. Otherwise I also recommend any samsung brand of phone which is sure to last you and make an impression.

The best place to look for something like that would be either ebay or amazon. They have people who are getting rid of their old cell phones there. If you are really lucky craigslist might even have something for you. Otherwise you can ask around and see if anyone that you know has one laying around.
