I like open-ended questions: What do you feel is the most important thing about being a good pharmacy technician? How do you see your role as a technician working with a pharmacist? How are your interpersonal skills? How well do you feel you handle irrational or angry people? Why are you (how did you become) interested in pharmacy practice?

Good questions might concern subjects like drug interactions, where the applicant attended school, why the applicant wants to work as a technician, and what medications are contra-indicated for what ailments.

Do you have any drug convictions or problems? This may sound tongue in cheek but it's very serious and very important.
