What is a good diet for a ballerina?

I want to be healthy but slender.

Well, first off you can start eating more vegetables. Salads are good too to help you maintain that weight that you want. You can also not drink as much pop and start drinking more water. Another good diet is making healthy fruit smoothies to fill you up throughout the day.

A high protein and fiber diet is necessary and eating should occur at least 4 times a day, with smaller portions for each meal and the smallest meal of the day should be dinner. Chicken or turkey, vegetables and beans should be staples and only drink water.

If you are a ballerina you will be very active with structured training, staying as disciplined in your dance will keep you slim. Eating healthy choices of food and being sensible with your portions will ensure you are healthy but still slender. Eating small amounts often is the key.

A real good diet for a ballerina as well as any athlete would be one that has all the good nutrients like protein and fiber.
