What is a good computer headset for someone who travels a great deal?

I would suggest buying one of the more expensive headsets, such as Bose, or theBoom noise cancelling headsets. These are more effective when you travel, as they improve the sound quality, and decrease all surrounding sounds as much as possible!

this thing totally depends upon your budget if you have a good budget then logitec premium notebook headsets are best for you and if you want to buy a headphone and make your self comfort for atleast 2-3 years then logitec clearchat wireless headphone is better i recommend to get first headphone as its for laptops

When you need a headset while traveling it must have a good noise isolation. Normal earplugs aren't a big deal because they don't isolate any noise. A good headset are in-ear plugs and headphones. An example of a in-ear plug is the "Bose in-ear" and an example of a good headphone is the Sennheiser HD 202.

Choose a headset from Platronics. Make sure it is USB. And make sure that it has both ear pieces. Get one that has the oversized ears that will help block out background noise

For traveling, you most likely want noise cancelling headphones to remove the background noise on airplanes or buses. Good brands include Bose, Sony and Audio-Technica. Try QuitePoint ATH-ANC7b, my favorite.

Try to buy in ear headsets or the noise cancelling headphones as you would need to cancel out the sounds from the surroundings when you are travelling. So i guess it is the best option.

A pair of BOSS, Technics , or Sony. There are plenty out there but these are the best in my opinion.
