Glioblastoma Multiforme Grade IV is the most common, most aggressive primary brain tumor. A Grade IV brain tumor causes new blood vessels to form, which helps maintain its rapid growth. Glioblastoma Multiforme occurs in all age groups. Symptoms of Glioblastoma Multiforme include headaches and seizures; the causes are unknown. It is slightly more common in men than in women.

Gliblastoma Multiforme Grade IV, is the highest grade, most aggressive primary tumor of the brain. It arrises from the glial cells in the brain and grows rapidly. It responds very poorly to treatment of any kind and generally leads to the death of the patient within a year. It killed Senator Kennedy and George Gershwin among well known victims.
