Well most popular dances now are hip hop with a bit of jazz and a little originality. Mostly isolations are cool to watch and a dance plot is usually enjoyed by the audience. My advice is do not make your dance moves too complicated for the dancers remember synchronization is very important.

Many dances that are specific to music videos have become popular such as the "soulja boy". Other songs that have made signature dances popular are "Cupid's Shuffle" or "1, 2 Step". A popular latin dance is called Bachata and it can be really fun and flirty and is fairly easy.
