It is deposition of calcium salts in the fallopian tube and ovary. calcification may be dystrophic(which means deposition in dead and degenerating tissues) or it can be metastatic(secondary to underline malignancy). Teratoma of ovary is a common cause. Blood calcium level should be evaluated and treatment will depend on underline cause

Adnexa - body parts associated with a specific anatomic part being examined. For females, the area around the uterus. Calcification can indicate cancer or signs of past injury depending on location.
