What is a "barebones" computer?

It is a stripped down PC with no extras at all. Very basic will be the case with power supply and motherboard. You'll need to add everything you want such as CPU, hard drive, and RAM. Software will also be needed for system when completed. No internet until hardware and software is added providing the capability.

barebone computers do only contain some components, other components like hard- and diskdrive, or a graphics card have to be added by you (you can decide which ones you want to add). Because many components are absent, you have to complete the pc before using it (e.q. for internet surfing).
