If your dog received a second rabies shot by accident, chances are it will not harm the dog in any way. Just be more vigilent next time.

Two rabies shots should not harm your dog. Many dogs receive more than one rabies shot, for example a family dog who gets lost and is later adopted by another family.

Not medical advice: Rabies shots when first given needs a booster in about 1-2 years. If this is what has happened then it will be ok. Every dog has to have their rabies shot and will also need a booster every 4-5 years. If it was your dogs first shot the second wouldn't hurt them.

In some cases, getting a double dose of a vaccination can cause some illness. This is pretty rare, however. As long as your dog is eating, going potty, and doesn't have any change in temper, it's probably fine. If you notice ANY changes in behavior, see your vet.

no i give my dog a rabie shot everyday after lunch at mcdonalds.....just kidding it wont hurt all a vacc. is a weekend or killed virus if doggy was able to survive it 1st it hs antibodies now and a 2nd or 3rd will not hurt it
