What happens to you if you do not eat any sugar?

I was thinking of not eating sugar ever again, however I want to make sure this is safe to do.

Nothing will happen, although I'm assuming you mean sugar as in the white stuff in the bag and not any source of sugar at all, since your body gets natural sugars from carbs and fruits and other things that are healthier and longer lasting as energy to your body than the white stuff.

You will be quite safe. It is virtually impossible to eat no sugar at all, you can stop using sugar and adding it to what you cook, you can stop eating sugar-based products, but it will still be in your food, in the shape of fruits, vegetables, condiments, bread, even meat.

Regular sugar is not necessary for any diet. You can safely eliminate it without feeling any ill effects. Sugar adds calories, which can be used as energy, but you can get this sort of energy from healthier alternatives. Of course, you can probably only eliminate table sugar--most foods have some form of sugar in them.
