What happens if you have a corrupt registry in Windows XP?

first install a software named ccleaner and run its registry fixer it will fix all the bad registry entries amd your registry will fix if problem remains the same then reinstall windows but registry will fix by that software

If the registry is corrupt Windows would fail to start properly. Several fixes can be used to repair the corrupted files using Operating System without fully reinstalling Windows back to the default setting. By using the Operating System CD running several commands can be ran to repair and recover the corrupted files.
