Most people use a plecostomus to eat algae, but there are several other fish. In a pond, Koi actually eat algae. I also use rosy red minnows. If you go to any fish store, each tank will have a few algae eaters in it. Just look for the fish hanging on the wall or swimming on the bottom.

A majority of fish eat green algae but the two that I can think of off the top of my head are Algae Eaters and Placostomus Catfish.
