Kosher is used in reference to the Jewish rules/laws of animals used in food. It also refers to meat and milk separation and wine and grape juice products. Kosher meat must adhere to the basics; tools used in preparation, slaughtering of the animal, etc. Agriculturalvegetable products are always kosher.
