It's better, it's a set of credentials acquired from operating a business effectively and honestly. Any business that is CMM Level 5 certified is in good standing and can be traded with without risk.

CMM is a certification on Capability Maturity Model. Level 5 is the highest level and the most difficult level to achieve certification in. Level 1 of Capability Maturity Model is the lowest level.

CMMI stands for Capability Maturity Model Integration. It is sometimes called CMM for short, Capability Maturity Model. CMMI is a certification related to software quality. CMMI level 5 is the highest. CMMI level 1 is the lowest. The only level lower than CMMI 1 is to not qualify for certification at all.
