A body temperature of 98.6 is the normal body temperature when the body is in a resting state. 97.6 may mean the person is in cold weather.

The average normal body temp is 98.6. A temp of 97.7 is no indication of anything abnormal. It is perfectly normal for a healthy body temp to vary through the day and night. Every time you take it, it will very as much as 1.5 degrees. Move on.
