Red lumps on a stretch mark could actually mean a number of things. It all depends on whether or not the area hurts, is sensitive in any way, itches, etc. If the area does not hurt or itch, it is more than likely a small fluid sac or cyst beneath the stretch mark.

Red swollen lumps can mean many things. The fact that it is on a stretch mark might just be coincidence. Without more description it could be a cyst, an irritated area or something else but a doctor has to look at it to diagnose it.

It could be anything. It sounds like it may be a cyst. I get them alot. It could also be a ingrown hair. To be on the safe side and to put your mind at ease I would recommend that you make a appointment to see you family doctor as soon as you can.

A red, swollen lump anywhere on the body is normally indicative of a sebaceous cyst. The human skin has sebaceous glands covering every inch of it, and these glands can occasionally get clogged with dirt or sweat. When this happens, they become inflamed, and a red cyst develops. These normally go away on their own.

If it is a new stretch mark, it could be a in-grown hair that you don't see. Keep the area clean and put a non fragrant lotion on it.
