What does it mean for a child to "grow wild"?

He's been "tame" before.

It means that before he was calm and followed rules, but now he's become someone different. Perhaps he's too energetic, fights, doesn't listen, and/or doesn't follow rules.

Children go through personality changes as they grow up, so a bit of misbehaving ("going wild") isn't unusual. If your child becomes very uncontrollable, though, check in with a professional.
