Having more the normal number of fingers or toes for that species of animal on all four feet of the mammal. The condition is normally genetic. It is most commonly seen in cats.

Polydactyl refers to having more than the normal amount of fingers or toes (i.e. six fingers on a single hand). A full polydactyl pet has this abnormality on all paws.
