British Petroleum, although their new tag line is Beyond Petroleum in an effort to make their business seem more "Green". The company is involved in the drilling, extraction, shipping, refining and distributing oil products, but has started investing in natural gas, solar, wind and other types of energy develpment.

In standard medical speech, the acronym BP stands for the words Blood Pressure, as in what the doctor takes on your arm.

So what does BP actually stand for? Let’s see, how about: Big Problem, Bad Player, Boycott Petroleum, Blowout Probable, Broadcast Prevention, Bulls**t Pusher, Black Pelican, Beyond Pathetic, Becoming Patronizing, Bully People, Below Pernicious…. Take your pick. Use them all!
