An RSS (Really Simply Syndication) Feeder sends updates to your RSS feed; it use most commonly used for developers and bloggers, so people who have access to their RSS feed can get instant updates about what they are working on or what they have newly published almost instantly. It is almost like instant messaging; except it's instant posting.

An RSS feeder simply supplies an RSS feed. These "feeds" are simply a version of XML that browsers, and other feed "readers" can easily understand.
