There are all kinds of tumors. Some are palpable, others aren't. Some are painful to the touch while others cause no pain at all. See your doctor about your concerns.

The problems with tumors are that sometimes they can't be felt. You can never really tell unless you have a tumor close to the skin. If you think though that you have a tumor, go to the hospital and ask for them to look for a tumor near where you think it is. Doesn't hurt to have peace of mind.

Usally they feel like a hard lump under the skin. Don't panic though there are many things that can cause lumps. See your doctor and they will diagnose it.

How a tumor "feels" depends on what kind of tumor and where it is located. Many tumors are not painful and are not noticed until they interfere the function of the area they have invaded. Fatty tumors can feel nodular and a little rubbery. They can round or asymetrical and are solid when pressed on.
