What does a termite look like?

Termites are about a half inch long they are skinny and have clear wings. They love flying around lights. After flying for a while you will notice that they are crawling on surfaces as after a while they lose their wings. They are a darkish brown in color, and you may notice wings in the area you see the termites.

They look just like a black ant some are big others are small and some have wings and some do not but if you have termites you will know it.

It looks like a white ant because the termite workers and soldiers have a white colored bodies.Generally,the size of termites grow 3 to 6 millimeters.

There are two types of termites. The first termite is the subterranean termite. It has a black body and white wings. The second type of termite is the drywood termite. It has a red body and black wings. Termites have straight antennae and a thick waist. Both pairs of wings are the same size.
