A great way to be casual and still wear formal is wearing a lounge suit, with the jacket cut slightly longer and pinstripes to keep you from looking stuffy--and these are widely available (it's a business suit!). A crisp white collared shirt, leaving the top two or three buttons undone adds a relaxing touch, just don't aim for sleazy.

There are many variations in pieces (jacket, trousers, vest)and length. They are often worn with a collared shirt and necktie.
