What does a liver enzyme count reveal?

A friend is concerned over his count.

If this count is high, it is considered indicative of some kind of liver disease or damage. Acute viral hepatitis A or B are frequent suspects, as is drug abuse.

High levels of any liver enzyme means a liver inflammation due to an infection, prologue use of medications or cancer.

it could mean that your taking to much alcohol or drugs. and they can run test to see which one. the alcohol or drug can damage your liver where they can not fix it and then you can not recover from it and the only thing is death. i would watch the count close
