A food processor is used to blend food or chop food or grate food. I use it for making bread dough, cake batter or sauces. I also have a blender attachment that allows me to make cocktails super fast as it will purify fruit and crushed ice. It is an essential piece of kitchen equipment as it saves manual whisking!

I use my food processor for everything from chopping and slicing vegetables, grinding my own hamburger and making bread dough. Couldn't live without it!

I use my food processor for chopping vegetables and making pie dough. If you don't do a lot of cooking, you will probably do fine with just a blender.
