Don't give in. At all. You have to break the pattern; They've learned this behavior will get them what they want, so break that at once.

Every time they ask you for something answer them back the same way. Do it all the time and then sit them down after and ask how they liked this?

Either do your best to ignore them, telling them to stop only tells them that whining gets them what they want: your attention. Or you can always send them to their room til they quit.

As a former teacher and grandmother of nine, I suggest you check out "Peter and the Whimper-Whineys" by Sherrill S. Cannon as an alternative solution to the problem of whining children. This rhyming book, found on amazon and Barnes & Noble, is a fun way to help children realize how annoying whining can be!

kids whine it's what they do. You need to set boundaries and punish them for doing things the wrong way. If you don't punish them they will grow up and be ridiculous adults.
