What do you do if your teenager has no drive?

Unfortunately a lot of teenages don't, so whatever you do, don't give up on them! Eventually, most will find it, but all you can do is encourage them to do their best. If things are really bad, I would certainly take away certain priviledges, but all you can do for the most part is try.

Your teenager probably does have some motivation, the key is to find the things that he or she is interested in and then apply them to success in life. You don't want to push too hard because then he'll just grow to resent you and do nothing to spite you.

Odds are there's SOMETHING that excites them. Find it and support that pursuit. Then, use it as a motivator for other things.
